Having been raised in a Christian household, Chris (30) faces the challenge of finding his place in the world, particularly due to his two mothers, who chose to keep their relationship hidden. When one of his mothers, Paddy (58), passes away, Chris returns home to a familiar yet unchanged environment. In a heartfelt effort to honor Paddy’s memory, Chris impulsively makes a decision that jeopardizes his relationship with his remaining family, his other mother, Mami Tess (59).

JENNIFER DRAKE was born in Saarbrücken, Germany, but grew up in Accra, Ghana. After completing her Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration in Ghana, she moved back to Germany to pursue her dream of becoming a filmmaker. Jennifer is currently studying Film Production and Media Business at the University of Television and Film in Munich. She has produced a number of short and feature-length fictional and documentary films across the continents of Europe and Africa. In 2023, Jennifer Drake wrote and directed her first short film titled ‚God is Grey‘ and is currently working on her next short film titled ‘Little Lady’. Jennifer is passionate about storytelling and wants to tell stories that push the boundaries and open up unknown worlds and stories that can capture human hearts.
