COVID-19 Policy

We recognize that the risk of COVID-19 is still ongoing, and we are committed to protecting our immunocompromised, elderly, and other community members. These guidelines are meant to create an environment where all of our community members are able to joyfully participate.

Masks are required at all indoor events, except when actively eating or drinking. Please plan to bring your own mask to the festival, but if you do not have one, one will be provided for you. Masks must remain on while inside the theaters. We thank you for your dedication to protecting our entire community.

Please note that the festival takes place within venues that don’t require masks, so there may be situations where guests are in close proximity to unmasked people.

BlackStar prioritizes the wellness of our entire community. If you are experiencing symptoms of any kind, including but not limited to coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, fever, chills, shortness of breath, headache, nausea or vomiting, congestion, or new loss of taste or smell, please do not attend the festival in-person. We are happy to exchange your All Access pass for a Virtual pass or your in-person screening ticket for a virtual screening ticket. Please keep in mind that not all films are available online.
