BlackStar’s Membership Tiers
All member tiers receive an exclusive subscription to our bimonthly membership newsletter, a discount on merchandise, special invites to members-only BlackStar events and early access to discounted BlackStar Film Festival passes. By becoming a member, you provide our organization with the necessary funding to sustain our year-round programmatic work, uplift the work of artists of the global majority, and challenge mainstream narratives of erasure.
Membership can be paid through a one-time gift or recurring monthly gift at any of the following levels: Filmmaker, Film Enthusiast, and Film Scholar. Supporters at $1k or above are eligible to join our Luminary Giving Circle.

Membership Terms and Conditions
Membership terms span the calendar year. Benefits may be subject to change, members will be notified in advance. Membership is considered a tax-deductible gift and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
To enjoy membership benefits in their entirety, we suggest joining our membership program within the first five months of the calendar year. Benefit eligibility is dependent on the launch date of each respective BlackStar program. Certain programmatic-related benefits will not be fulfilled, if the program has occurred prior to membership enrollment.
